Why 61 days? Research shows it takes approximately two months to establish new habits. This challenge provides a structured framework for those ready to make lasting lifestyle changes.


The Six Pillars of the 61 Hard Challenge

To ensure balanced development, the challenge is built around six essential pillars:

1. Get Quality Sleep

  • Aim for 7-9 hours of uninterrupted sleep nightly.

  • Sleep is the foundation for recovery, mental clarity, and overall performance. Create a nighttime routine to optimize rest.

  • No phone or screens 1h before bedtime. 2-3h before bedtime all screens should have blue light blocker or you can wear blue-green blocker glasses.

  • Write down before going to bed, anything that you need to  do next day. 

     

  • Sunlight viewing first thing in the morning when waking up.
  • No caffeine 6-8h before going to bed.

  • Focus on whole, nutrient-dense foods.

  1. Each day, complete tasks under each of the six pillars.

  2. Download the 61 Hard Challenge tracker to log your achievements.

  3. Post a screenshot of the tracker to your Instagram story to share your weekly progress.

  4.  Mark with an X the tasks you’ve completed. Every X gives you 1 point. At the end of the week, add all of your points to get your total score. The maximum you can get is 77 points each week.

  5. Tag @goprimal.eu and use the hashtag #GO61HARD when sharing your progress. 

The tracker goal is to keep you accountable of what you do every day.
